Evidently when Brandsmart (where I bought my Galaxy Note) transferred my pictures to my Note from my iPhone they all were transferred to my external SD card that I put in. I am not trying to rename folders on my home page. Now if you have a lot of photos and folders to play with, I really suggest using the computer to organize the collection as it will be much quicker and easier to do. Now to rename a folder/file, simply select the folder/file and press the 'Rename' button.
